2011 SCHEDULE
BOARD and GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS

The TBLA board meets at 6 pm on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Members are welcome as the board meetings are open. The business of the Association is conducted during these meetings. For example, status of under way efforts, plans for new projects, financial matters, arrangement for guest speakers, etc are discussed. The board meetings are held at the El Giro Restaurant on the corner of Hwy. 6 and Hwy. 191.

On the first Thursday of each month we have a general membership meeting that includes a pot luck style dinner. Currently, the TBLA provides the main entrée or meat and the members bring the side dishes. At this meeting we try to have an informative guest speaker. Our membership meetings provide great social get-togethers and a forum to discuss the past, present and future activities of the TBLA. The General Membership meetings are held at “The Lodge” which is located inside the SRA San Miguel park off of Carter’s Ferry Road, directions to “The Lodge” are on this page.

In October we issue a special invitation for guests to join us at an outdoor fish fry, which is prepared by the TBLA members at the San Miguel Park, L A. The November meeting includes a Thanksgiving dinner and the December meeting is a Christmas party. These two meetings are catered locally and we ask for a small donation at the door to help cover the cost of the meal.

Directions to the “Lodge”

From the Hwy 6 and 191 intersection:

• head north past Hwy 1215, where the first San Miguel Park sign is located.
• Further north is Carter's Ferry Rd. (about 2 miles) which is on the left. There are signs there that say San Miguel Park & Wildwood Resort.
• Turn left and go about two miles west to second pair of San Miguel and Wildwood signs and make a right turn.
• This takes you to the final turn, also right, that takes you into the San Miguel Park.
• The Lodge is on the west side of the road; it is the third road that you can turn onto once you enter the park.
• A sign on the right says "Pavilion". 

Coming from Zwolle on 191:

• it is about 4 miles to Carter's Ferry Rd
• Turn right and follow the instructions as previously mentioned.
