Premo

Premo Lift Arm Lighter

Late 1920s - early 1930s Uses the same patent as Golden Wheel lift arm lighters of the same period. Peters Shoe Company did a big mail order business in shoes for men and women as well as selling through stores from the early 1900s (prior to 1906) and had numerous products with their ads on then such as this lighter, valets for men, pocket knives, and so forth. The "Diamonds" were on sale at least as early as 1906 and into the 1930s at least.

Prince Grenade Lighter

Prince, along with other Japanese companies and Swank sold LOTS of these! Post WW2 and through the 1960s. There is little or no difference between many of them suggestion most were made by the same manufacturer and sold under different names.

Quick Lite

Quick Lite Rasp Lighter

c. 1919. Very unusual lighter! Attached to the side of the lighter is a rasp. A flint protrudes from the snuffer cap. When the cap is quickly removed the rasp causes the flint to spark. The sparks fall into the wicking material in the lighter, igniting the fire. This type wicking material is most commonly used with (methanol) alcohol.
