Establish 168' mean sea level as the minimum lake level for routine power generation on Toledo Bend Reservoir with three exceptions:

to meet the requirement for minimum down-river flow
for emergency generation of power to prevent a brown out
when required by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to inspect the dam

Commitment of Support

to align the Louisiana and Texas Crappie Fishing Regulations on Toledo Bend
for uniform marking of all navigational aids on the Reservoir
as an advocate for the use of safe boating practices

Who We Are

The purposes and objectives of the Alliance are to enhance:

the operation, maintenance and safety of Toledo Bend Reservoir as a recreational resource of the States of Louisiana and Texas
economic development
·tourism

We choose to assist local and state governments, including the Sabine River Authorities of Louisiana and Texas, in areas that may effect the development of Toledo Bend Reservoir as a recreational resource. We strive to achieve a balance between Toledo Bend's water supply, hydroelectric power generation and recreation as the primary purposes for the creation of The Toledo Bend Project.
