TOTAL RELEASE AT ANY STAGE DURING MAY THRU SEPT------5.70 FEET
NOTES:
- Maximum turbine discharge capacity is 30,000 ac-ft/day
- Release 100 cu.ft./sec (cfs) from storage when power plant is shut down.
- Releases will be in quantities sufficient to provide a minimum average monthly flow at Rulif, Texas of 1,500 cfs during the 7 month period of October through April and a 3,000 cfs during the 5 month period May through September.
- When pool stage is at or above 172.5 and the inflow is greater than
power plant capacity, operate spillway in accordance with "Guide
on Spillway Gate Operations".
- Authorities will notify Companies as to flow conditions in the Sabine
River as required in Section 5.07 of the Power Sales Agreement.
- Control stages set forth above are to be maintained only to the extent
possible when making releases through the Power Plant.
- Spillway gates are to be opened only when stages specified in the"Guide to Spillway Gate Operation" are reached.
- During prime power season when stage of Lake is near limit, maintain
close watch on inflow and make releases of secondary power generation
to avoid spillway releases, if possible. Releases to be determined based
on best judgment--considering upstream conditions and stages at Rulif,
and inflows below the dam.
- Generating schedule to be approved by the Authorities prior to Plant
operation.
