Message: Oddly enough, while fishing for Stripers below the dam I got 3x 1-2 lbs Crappie (Sac-au-lait), 2 yellow bass, and a small spotted bass, all on a jigging spoon. If the wildlife department reads this - PLEASE STOCK MORE STRIPERS. It's hard as heck to find them nowadays.

Message: Jeremy-

If you launch at the park boat launch, pass the 1st cut on the right by the tent camp area and fish the next cut on your right. There's a small "ditch" through the back that cuts through to another good area. This leads to more main lake area, that can be excellent if wind will allow. All that area has been good fishing; lots of timber and used to have grass. It can be shallow, especially in the ditch, so watch your depth, but deeper water around the outside where the main lake is. I've caught lots of good fish all in that area for years. Also, if it's too windy, could be a great refuge to escape some wind. Good Luck and rip some lips.
