Message: Fishing was good today, bass were biting on several patterns. Caught bass from 2 to 12 Ft. Carolina rig caught most of the fish, used Mardi Gras, Watermelon Red Magic, Watermelon Red, and Watermelon Candy superflukes. Wacky worm with 1/32 bullet weight above hook in same colors and Superfluke JR. Texas rigged no weight. I Caught over 20 bass with 8 solid keeper fish all were released alive and well. Find the grass and you will find the fish. Take care and keep a tight line.

Message: went out saturday and sunday and caught alot of bass in the lowes creek area and indian mounds with most coming on traps and jerk baits but the few bigger bites comind in the morning on large spooks and chug bugs around grass...

Message: We fished the south end of Toledo Bend last week. we caught fish with chartruse and white spinner baits with gold willow leaf spinners. We could only get out to fish in the mornings for two to three hours due to high winds. We caught one 5#-3oz,one 4.8oz and the biggest was 8#. We fished primary and secondary points.

Message: Went out yesterday afternoon and found bass hitting Texas rigged worms and square bill crankbaits in 5-15 foot of water. Largest two bass weighed 4 1/2 lbs each. Caught, weighed and released. It was good to have an evening when the wind finally settled down and you could actually feel the bite!

Message: Heading to the lake this weekend or next week. Looking for some advice on the white perch and the bream. I usually fish the southern part of the lake. (Indian Creek, Pirates Cove, Six Mile)

Message: Whent to the Bend for three days and had a blast. Wind was terrable and had to fight the trolling moter but caught 50 crappie anyway. Found them at 10 to 12 feet of water in the grass water temp 68 to 70 degrees. Water needs to warm up a little more and i think it will be on then. Planning another trip at the end of April.

Message: Just returned from The Bend. 6 boats with 190 keepers. Had a 5 lb. 6lb. 1 oz 6 lb 8 oz 7 lb 4 oz and a 10 lb . Life is good. Swimbaits accounted for the big ones. Wacky worms and senkos were the most productive on the rest. Stayed at Bridge Bay resort our home away from home.

Message: The fishing is good on the upper Sabine, there at Logansport La, north of Gerretts park off hwy 31 north of town. The stripers & sand bass along with crappie were runnin hard last week. Im going back this weekend to hit em again! Fishing was best there at the mouth of the backwater and points along the river channel.
