	Sabine River Authority State of Louisiana presents its Annual Christmas on Toledo Bend
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED - This page is left for your information and enjoyment. December 6, 2003 will see the annual festival celebrating Christmas on Toledo Bend sponsored by SRA Louisiana and hosted at its Cypress Bend Park facility. The event runs from 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM. This festival is geared to family entertainment with the major emphasis on the children. Yes... Santa will be here and the kids can visit with him! Boaters can participate in the flotilla - a floating parade of boats and barges decorated with lights and Christmas themes. The boats are judged in different divisions on decorations and lighting and prizes are offered to those judged best. Participating boaters may launch free of charge at the park or may come by water from other launch sites. Everyone is invited to decorate their watercraft and participate!
The RV campers in the park are encouraged to decorate their campers and campsites for various prizes. The monthly spot winner will receive a free month's space rent. Over night RV winner will receive a free weekend space in the park.
As the sun sets, the decorative lights in the park are on and judging of the RV Campsites is about to begin.
Join the fun with bon fires on the beach and hayrides throughout the park.
Entertainment was emceed by Susie Anthony, director of the event, and included Mark Ussery, Katie Floyd, Katie Bell, Jennifer Honeycutt and children from Dance Time Studio.
	A great fireworks show ends the evening with a "bang"!
