Fishing his very first Anglers Choice Pro/Am tournament, the Seabrook, TX, Pro/angler
managed to also win his very first Pro/Am event by working an early morning top-water bite with Chug-Bugs. The newly acclaimed Bass/Pro gave credit to his late Grandfather for showing him his winning spots over ten years ago. "I just went back to those spots that my grandpa had shown me back then and fished them like he taught me to fish back then, stated the grateful 1st place Pro/angler who digitized a 10 bass/24.82 lb win.

"This is our 4th Central Division Pro/Am event for the 2000 season, explained Anglers Choice CEO/Director, Johnnie Davis, "as it's one of the qualifying events for the upcoming Central Division Pro/Am Championship, to be held at a later date, time, and lake to be announced after out final event that will be held on August 19-20, 2000 at Frontier Park Marina on lake Toledo Bend, TX.
