Sixty six teams signed up to launch into near purrr-fect weather conditions, but post-front bluebirds and post-spawn lockjaw kept the bass weights down for anglers who had a hard time finding enough keeper weights to notch their leaderboard marks with, "but, much like in any other sporting event there will always be those few who rise to the challenge to take the top spots.

Humble Bass Club members, Jim Matthew of Houston TX, and Jimmy Emmons of Humble TX, managed to pocket $775 for their 2nd place efforts.

"Overall" Big Bass-(6.10 lbs)- David Want of Huntsville TX, was fishing with team partner, Perry Judice of Houston TX, while fishing with a Castaway rod and Shimano reel spooled with 12# Berkley Big Game mono when a 6.10 lb bass nailed his lemon/pumpkin Creme wacky worm.
