GEORGE JEANE SR. AND GEORGE WILLIAMS WIN ON TOLEDO BEND

July 28, 2001 - North Louisiana Division Regional Qualifying Tournament of 2001 was held at Cypress Bend State Park on Toledo Bend as well as the Friday night meeting. This was the annual "family night" with barbeque chicken and all the trimmings prepared and served by the Fishers of Men crew. Thanks go to Michael, Shannon, & Hunter Burkhardt; Chris Locke; Gene Austin; Kenneth Lee; and Mitch & Pam Johnson. The delicious dinner was served to over one hundred guests. National Director, and founder of Fishers of Men, Al Odom gave the message with one man giving his life to the Lord and three re-dedications. Angela Peyton of Nacogdoches, Texas did the singing...and what wonderful singing it was!! She is very talented and was a blessing to all.

Danny Warmack and Wesley Fredieu secured second place with 14.24 lbs. On finesse worms & Texas rigged worms in the 1215 area.

Tommy Baker and Brandon Collins nailed third place. Their stringer weighed 13.16 lbs., which included a big 8.07 lb. Toledo Bend bass caught on a Carolina-rigged French fry.
