5 Bass/16-15 Claims Toledo BFL Pro/Win
By Ed Snyder

-5 Bass/15-15 Takes Co/Win-

Wal-Mart/Operation Bass Fishing League- Cowboy Division.
Saturday, May 29, 2002, Cypress Bend Resort, Lake Toledo Bend, LA.

Shifting clouds and nomadic thunderstorms kept the 342 teamed ProBoater & Co-Boater BFL anglers busy dodging rainsqualls while trying to catch and cull their respective 5 bass to tournament limits. And with an earlier 2:30 pm weigh-in scheduled, more pressure was added to the already stormy adversities for catching those limits that would mark lower than normal Toledo tournament weights on the BFL tournament leader-board at Cypress Bend Resort.

This Wal-Mart/Operation Bass tournament event teams Boater division anglers (boat owners) with Co-Boater division anglers (boat riders) who then fish for separate 5 bass tournament limits for competitive weigh-ins within their divisional leader-board formats, which pit only Boater anglers (pro-anglers) and Co-boater anglers (co-anglers) against other anglers of their respective divisions.

As a note of interest to the anglers for the 2003 Wal-Mart FLW schedule, the Tour will offer a $5.5 Million Dollar package to its tournament field that will end with a $1.5 Million Dollar Jacobs Cup event being held September 10-13 on the James River in Richmond, VA.
