Lakeview Campground
in Sabine National Forest

Lakeview is 14 miles southeast of Hemphill, TX off Farm to Market Road 2928. This area is open for camping, has chemical toilets and water available. There is a primitive boat ramp, as well.
The area is open all year and all overnight visitors are required to pay a camping fee. While you should check on camping fees, from 2000 - June, 2010 they have held steady at $4 per campsite and $2 per vehicle for day use. This area is located on Toledo Bend Reservoir.

Directions:
From Hemphill, Tx.:
- Take Highway South to Six Mile - junction of Highway 2928
- Turn East on Highway 2928 and go 3.5 miles to end of paved road; follow signs to Lakeview (approx. 4 miles).

| This area is located at the Lakeview Trailhead for the Trail Between the Lakes, a 28 mile hiking trail running between Toledo Bend Reservoir and Sam Rayburn Reservoir. |
