Pleasure Point's 200 acres of wooded tranquility and about 5 miles of shoreline into several little coves offers quiet seclusion. The location offers proximity to nearby towns for shopping. A great place for a getaway - weekend or all winter.

1 cabin style shelter, 20' x 20', offers sheltered camping. It has a picnic table and electricity within and water outside. You must bring everything else you need. Grills for barbecuing are available all over the park.

The tent camping area is nicely wooded and has water outlets readily available.

124 RV sites are tucked into beautifully wooded areas, some by the lake. All offer water and electric hookups;50 sites also offer sewer hookup. There is a dumping station on site. TV antennas and cable are not available. There is a pay telephone in the park.

There are plenty of quiet little spots to enjoy the day or evening and, maybe, do a little fishing from shore. The white, sandy swimming beach area is inviting and not far from some nice shade trees, too. The paved, 2 lane boat launch area opens into a quiet cove and has a floating pier for easy boat access

Park gate closes (and is locked) at 9:00 PM until 6:00 AM. If you are arriving late, or wish to be out of the park after 9:00 PM you may make arrangements to get the lock combination.

Directions:

Pleasure Point is just off of Louisiana Highway 191.

Turn off of La 191, between the 5 and 6 mile markers, onto Pleasure Point Road. Go 1.2 miles on Pleasure Point Road to park entrance.

Pleasure Point Road is 4 miles South of the junction of Louisiana Highway 473 and Louisiana Highway 191.
