Nestled on a cove just off an arm of Toledo Bend Lake the 108 acres of San Miguel will enchant you. This is a lovely, rolling, wooded area with paved roads throughout. Stay for a weekend or stay with your RV all winter!

19 fully furnished A-frame cabins have everything you need but food waiting for you! You can get away from the TV, too! But if you want it, you'll need to bring your own with a VCR because there is no cable or antennas. Each cabin has 1 queen and 2 twin beds.
40 RV sites are tucked into beautifully wooded areas. All offer water and electric hookups; 20 sites also offer sewer hookup. There is a dumping station on site. TV antennas and cable are not available. There is a pay telephone in the park.

Paved boat launch
Two small open pavilion are available as well as the large enclosed pavilion. There are two very small open pavilion behind the large pavilion, too. The paved, 2 lane boat launch area adjoins the covered boat stalls and the fish cleaning station is just on the other side of the launch.

New rental cabins offer a spacious open floor plan and are fully furnished - dishes, cookware, silverware, linens, etc. - just bring some groceriesand your toiletries and have a great time!

Park gate closes (and is locked) at 9:00 PM until 6:00 AM. If you are arriving late, or wish to be out of the park after 9:00 PM you may make arrangements to get the lock combination.

Cancellation Fees: There is a $20.00 cancellation fee for cabin rentals and a $5.00 cancellation fee for RV Pads and Overnight Shelters IF cancellation is not made 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date.
Pavilion Rental: The person or group renting a pavilion must provide security, at their expense, during the hours of the event.

Directions:

From La 6 and La 191(Toledo Town): Take La 191 North 3.4 miles to La 1215. Turn left; go 3.6 miles to crossroad (Shell station). Turn right onto Carters Ferry Rd; go 2.5 miles to San Miguel Rd. Turn left onto San Miguel Rd.; go 0.3 miles to entrance; sign says "Sammy Gill Park" Site 7A.

From Zwolle, La.: Take La 475 out of town to junction with La 191. Turn left (South) onto La 191; go 3 miles to Carters Ferry Rd. Turn right onto Carters Ferry Rd; go 0.3 miles to park entrance.
