Community Involvement Programs Funding Application Instructions

The Toledo Bend Lake Association (TBLA) has made it possible for the public and other organizations to request funds for projects and ideas that will help maintain and improve the quality of life in and around the Toledo Bend Lake area. We have set up a simple way to apply for funds by following the steps below.

Print the application form and fill it out completely.

Attach a letter of introduction along with any information or history that you may feel will help the TBLA Board of Directors in reaching a decision on what you might be granted.

You may either bring the complete form to one of our monthly board meetings or mail it in to the below address for us to review.

Your funding application will not be acted upon until the next month's regular board meeting unless it is deemed to be of a critical nature requiring an immediate response.

The TBLA Board will request your personal appearance at our next board meeting to discuss your application.

Please note there are strict funding guidelines that must be met before your funding application will be processed. The basic guidelines for us to consider funding will be the following:

• Funds applied for MUST be used for the betterment of the lake, the lake area or the lake area people.
• Funds applied for can be used by a single person, a group, a club or an organization that contributes itself for the betterment of the lake or for the betterment of groups of people around the lake.

No funding applications will be acted upon for the sole purpose of individual monetary gains or of a group or business with unjustified financial gains in mind.

Your funding application can be denied for any reason by the TBLA Board of Directors. Please remember the funding you are applying for must benefit the lake, lake area or benefit the lake's area residents. The application must indicate how these funds will maintain or improve the quality of the lake or life in an around the Toledo Bend Reservoir.
