This is a listing of Toledo Bend Lake boat launching facilities on both the Louisiana and Texas sides of the lake. The listings include directions and GPS waypoints!
Note: These launches are not listed alphabetically by Launch Names. They are listed in geographical order from north to south, e.g. the first launch listed is the northern most launch. Each additional launch is in order as you go south down the Lake. Additionally, the launches are listed separately for the Louisiana and Texas sides of the lake. This information is not regularly checked - so it may or may not be completely correct - please use at your own discretion.

On US 84 [Main St.] 4 blocks east of the river bridge turn north on La. 764 ["Marshall St."], go .75 mile to "Garrett Park Rd.", turn left go .75 mile to launch.
On US 84 on the west bank of the river, just across the river from Logansport, 50 vehicle paved parking area, no facilities, all services and supplies nearby.
[1] From Logansport at junction of US 84 and La. 5 take US 84 east for 2 miles to La. 191, go right [south] for 8.5 miles to "Circle Dr.;"

[2] from Stanley take La. 763 south 3 miles from Stanley to La. 191, turn left go 3.25 miles south. Turn right [west] on "Circle Dr.," go 2 miles to "Oak Ridge Rd." right-"Water Plant Rd." left, go right on "Oak Ridge" for 1 mile.
Double wide paved launch, 50 vehicle paved parking with 50 overflow, playground with equipment, restrooms, about 24 camp sites over wide area on nice hill with water some with picnic tables.

No facilities, 20 vehicle parking, 2 large cleared areas for wilderness primitive camping, just a gentle sloping dirt bank to back down.

Launch just west of cottages beside highway. Everything is all closed but LAUNCH IS STILL OPERATIONAL. Paved launch with 20 vehicle parking. Several cottages, 18 boat slips, dockside electricity, camp trailer space, mobile home hookup, fish clean area, lodging, laundry, grills.
From La. 6 take La. 191 north to just before Lanan Bay bridge on south bank on east side No facilities, 5 vehicle parking.

Toledo Village Public Launch
Simple Launch Paved Free
17 miles north east of Burkeville.
From TX 87 take R255 east for 8 miles to "Hickory Hill Rd.," just east of church, turn left, go 100 yards, turn right, go .25 mile to the end of the road.
No facilities here, 20 vehicle paved parking. All facilities and supplies available .5 miles to the west at Indian Creek Lodge - gas, lodging restaurant, store, drinks , snacks, tackle .
MARINA -- The dictionary defines a marina as a small harbor that has dockage, supplies, and services for small pleasure craft. Here there will definitely be fuel available. It most probably will be on the water. If not it will be so noted. There may also be diesel fuel. There will most probably also be some, to many other facilities, i.e., store, food, ice, drinks, camping, rooms, and restaurant among other things. These will be stated in the launch description and notes. This classification could be a Resort Marina on down to just a commercial launch with fuel available.
IMPROVED LAUNCH -- At these type of launches there will be just a few conveniences or accommodations, i.e., restrooms, camping, picnic tables, playgrounds, phone, maybe a store, as will be described in the launch description and notes.
SIMPLE LAUNCH -- At these locations there will be only the launch ramp and available parking.
JON BOAT LAUNCH--Now these places are for only the hardiest boaters and fisherman. This will be "just a place to put a boat into the water." Simply stated; to pull up with a "john boat, canoe, or maybe a pirogue" in the back end of a pickup to put into the water. Most places unless other wise stated a boat trailer can be backed into the water but not necessarily a large "bass rig." In the upland hill country it could be down a clay dirt bank. In the coastal regions it could be a place at the marsh, through the marsh grass, or between some trees into a swamp. But, where ever it is, and how ever good it is, it will defiantly be an access to said body of water.
