- GOOD. Water slightly stained; 53-56 degrees; 5.49’ low. The largemouth bass bite has been active recently on worms, crankbait, and spinners in shallow water on creek structure and vegetative cover. Crappie are excellent in brush piles on jigs and minnows in creeks. Striped bass are fair on rattle traps, and spoons on moving from the main lake to creeks. White bass are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on chicken livers and dough bait. Yellow catfish are slow. Flatheads prefer live goldfish.
